“This is a very beautiful hotel and one of the best ones I’ve stayed in. The building itself is over 800 years old but Layla and her husband have done an excellent job making the rooms feel very comfortable, clean, and cozy. The interior is spectacular and the furnishings are well-done. The breakfast was very good and the hot chocolate was delicious! Layla also was able to accommodate my late arrival on a Friday night due to a delay with the train. Overall, I was very pleased with my short stay here and I hope to return!”

“Small but a cosy hotel very close to the station with a delicious breakfast. The owner is very friendly and competent, helps and guides visitors. The place might be too small for a longer trips or for bigger families but for short trips, it is just perfect. I had a good experience.”

“Cute hotel with an absolutely exceptional breakfast, but there are some quirks. The bed is in theory queen size, but comprises two, separate single mattresses, each with separate sheets and single size doonas. I am 180cm and this made my sleep uncomfortable. With ear plugs and fan on I was able to drown out street noise throughout the night. However, on Saturday morning the cafes next door have chairs and tables delivered at 7.30am in a big truck, which was impossible to sleep through. There was wifi but it dropped out. As others have said, the breakfast was really fantastic and probably balances out the rest. But if you are a light sleeper or tall and coming to Regensburg for a weekend of relaxation, you may like to check the room setup will work for you.”
